Getting Started

The first step in building your system is analying your current power usage. Now that PG&E has your usage information available online, it's easy to get these numbers to us so we can give you an estimate for the size system you will need. Below, you will find instructions on how to get the information we will need in order correctly estimate your system. If you would prefer, Sol Sierra can access your PG&E information for you -- just include your PG&E information on our Free Estimate Form.

To start, go to the Energy Analyzer at www.pge.com -- PG&E now has your detailed history of usage, costs and charges for up to 24 months available online (you will need to sign up for an online account in order to access this information). Once you have signed up for an account, you'll see the following screen. Take the Usage History link under Usage.

Take the USAGE tab on the Usage History screen (below) to find a list of your monthly power usage kilowatt hours (kwh). You can also take the Account Summary tab to get your monthly costs as well. The number we will need to give you a system estimate is the TOTAL of the last twelve months of the Electricity Used (kwh) column and the TOTAL of your Electric Charges (under Account Summary tab).

Save these numbers and use them to complete our Free Estimate Form to get started! We look forward to hearing from you!
